When shear forces need to be transferred across a joint, shear connectors are used. Components can be connected to each other simply and economically without constraint using ACIDORN® shear connectors. Suitable connectors and matching sleeves are available for different deformation magnitudes and directions.
Our shear force transfer systems have approvals throughout Europe.

ACIDORN® shear dowels are available as simple single dowels ADE for low forces and small joint openings. For high forces and large joint openings, the heavy-duty shear dowels ADH, double dowels DSD, and for large joints DSDS are available.
The high-quality materials (duplex steel – 1.4362/1.4462) and precise workmanship ensure high durability.
The ACIDORN® Strada road construction dowel is used for joints in concrete road construction.

The appropriate sleeves can be selected for the mandrels. In addition to sleeves for axially displaceable mandrels, sleeves for transversely displaceable shear mandrels are also available, ensuring displacement in two directions. With the wide selection of materials, you can choose the optimal solution for the required durability.
